So many people spend years coping with anxiety, trauma, or chronic stress without ever addressing the root cause. Individual therapy changes that.

Individual Therapy in Chicago — Trauma-Informed, Integrative Care

If you've tried talking about it and still feel stuck — in anxiety, chronic stress, or patterns your mind can't logic its way out of — individual therapy with me offers a path forward. As a trauma-informed, integrative therapist in Chicago, I work with the whole person: mind, body, and nervous system, not just symptoms. Individual therapy sessions are covered by Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO and United Behavioral Health. Welcome. I'm glad you're here.

What to Expect in Session One

Our first meeting is an initial interview so I can get a real sense of who you are — your history, what makes you tick, what you dream about, and what you wish to change. From there, we work together toward your intentions. I'll gently challenge you, and we'll complement our sessions with weekly reflections, readings, or projects to help you keep growing between appointments. Therapy takes effort, and I promise to meet you halfway.

The Work We'll Do Together

My approach draws on trauma-informed, talk-based therapy, grounded in an integrative understanding of how mind and body affect one another. Sessions focus on exploring your history, patterns, and present-day struggles in conversation, with practical tools and reflection between appointments to support real change. I also collaborate directly with psychiatrists to help clients safely reduce psychiatric medications when that's part of their goals, using Dr. Leslie Korn's integrative method.

What Becomes Possible

Our work together will grow and nurture your resilience. Over time, you may notice:

  • Life's stresses and upsets feeling more manageable

  • A renewed sense of purpose and presence in daily life

  • More ease sitting with solitude, rather than avoiding it

  • Distance from the inner critic that's been running the show

  • Less fear, more love — and a return of curiosity, wonder, and hope

I wholeheartedly believe this is possible for you.
