Our first meeting will be an initial interview so I can get a better sense of who you are...your history, what makes you tick, what you dream about, and what you wish to change. From then on we will work together to meet your goals. I will gently challenge you, and we may complement our sessions with weekly assignments, readings and projects to help you reach your full potential. Therapy is hard work and I promise to meet you halfway.
Our work together will grow and nurture your resilience. Life's stresses and upsets will feel more manageable. You will discover feelings of newness and purpose as you learn how to live in the now, embrace your precious solitude, and disengage from the ego/inner critic. I use various therapy approaches, which I cater to each individual client. They include mindfulness, psychodynamic psychotherapy, Gestalt therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Art Therapy. Together we will find ways for you to live more intuitively and reach your authentic self.
